Environment
At MIRAI and CHIMEI we care about nature and the environment. We believe it’s important that when our products reach the end of their life, they are recycled in an efficient and professional way. Here is a list of approved recycling companies that we work with to ensure no harm comes to the environment through the disposal of our products.
Pixel Policy
Each pixel on an LCD is addressed by 3 transistors (Red, Blue, Green) and on an LCD panel with a native resolution of 1024 x 768, that means there are over 2.3 million transistors. Sometimes, pixels (all three transistors) or sub pixels (one or two of the transistors per pixel) can fail and this is an accepted phenomenon of LCD technology. To protect the customer, a standard for how many pixel or sub pixel defects can be deemed acceptable was created by ISO (ISO 13406-2) and we operate within these guidelines. Image Retention Statement
Image retention is a nature of LCD panels. We can’t totally avoid this problem.Be advised to not use the same pattern for a long time on LCD screen to avoid this problem. Please refer to the panel manufactures statement for further details. for further details.
